yea i have a buddy who has a 98 z28 with a fully forged ls1, heads/cam full bolt on's.. ford 9in rear and m/t slicks it puts down about 465rwh on the motor alone and was jetted for a 250 shot but has new jets only for 100 shot but that should hit 10's no problem i would say... ls1 have an insane potential for n/a... iv seen a lot see 10's with a stock short block still...

It's the LS1 (04). I hear ya, I know someone around my area that has a ws6 that is srpayed with heads/cam and he's running 10's.

i take it you have a gto? if so ls1 or ls2? and if you want to spray, do heads/cam forged internals and spray.. then that thing would scream..

I live in PA (Northeast). From some research that I've done a twin-turbo setup at 7 psi puts down 550 to the wheels. It's still a toss up though because even though I'm a turbo guy at heart, I wanna try out some of the happy juice lol.

you should have kept the gst and gone all out....well the GTO should be cool too, have any plans for it? A turbo setup could make 500+WHP with ease(as far as i know), and they are good daily drivers. I guess not so much up here in the snowbelt tho, lol, but you could have some good fun playing in the snow with torque and RWD. where do u live?

If it sort of sounds like a SuperCharger my T25 made the same sound before the turbine shaft broke. So I would take off your intake and check for shaft play.

ok yeah might be lifter thanks oh and I don't know if you might can answer this but...when my turbo spools up and makes a high pitched whizzz almost like fast metal grinding...is this normal?

For me the valves were hitting the top of the piston. For you it might just be lifter tick. (Unless your car is barely running like mine was when the valves were hitting the piston)

Tight sounds like you got a good plan, if you go 20g, make sure and get the TD06

I got another 7 bolt block and a new crank and bearings, rebuilt head, and I might get a 50 trim or 20g with some 272's if not now, in the near future.

the nicest color for eclipses ... i recommend gettin some enki rimz or somthing real sick
