How can you say SRT are heavy? I own a 2005 Srt-4, and a 1991 Eclipse GSX. The SRT weighs around 2700, while the DSM weighs near 3800. AWD makes the car VERY heavy. Learn your cars before you make hellen keller comments.

Stutterbox, Axles, LSD, Motor mounts and good tires make a amazing difference in a fwd DSM

Just to add my 2 Sense. Get Two step on that AWD DSM and its gone. i got a 93 Tsi FWD and ill tell u what all u need is motor mounts, tires, and LSD and u can launch like an AWD.

Another thing to consider is how fresh and new the srts motor is. Thats either a 90 or 91 talon. SO that means its at least 17 years old. Thats 17 years of punishment. And it still has enough to beat a srt4. And even if the srt was AWD. It wouldn't win. Those things are so god damn heavy its retarded.

Really an AWD car beat a FWD? Holy shit. Come on guys. This one is a no-brainer. The traction in a DSM in incredible. Just because a car doesnt win a drag race doesnt mean its crap.
